The IQ2000 Cryogenic Rapid Chip-Scale Prober is a breakthrough in cryogenic probing, tailored for quantum and photonic device research. It features a configurable sample space that supports high-density die-level probing and rapid multi-die probing—perfect for R&D prototyping with variable pad layouts.

Rapid Cooling with Load-Lock Technology

The load-lock chamber cools devices from room temperature to below 4 K in under an hour, far outperforming conventional systems that take 10+ hours. An option for cooling to below 2 K further enhances precision, improving data throughput by over 10X.

Flexible Sample Space Configurations

The IQ2000 offers two configurations:

  1. High-Density RF and DC Contact: With HPD PQ500 probe socket technology, it supports high-density RF (>12 GHz) and DC contacts for devices with over 800 pads.
  2. Variable Pad Layouts: Nanopositioners on the cryogenic stage allow in-situ probe adjustments via Velox™ software, enabling flexible, automated positioning, especially useful for photonic circuits.

Advanced Cooling Sub-System

The high-power cryocooler maintains temperatures below 4 K during probing, with a sub-2 K environment achieved through a helium-4 Joule-Thompson system—ideal for SNSPDs and spin qubit devices.

Automation and Control with Velox

The IQ2000’s fully automated cryogenic and vacuum systems are accessible for users of all skill levels, featuring an intuitive visual interface. The Velox software suite provides high-accuracy manual and automated probe alignment for efficient data collection.

Transforming Cryogenic Probing

With rapid cooling, configurability, and advanced automation, the IQ2000 is designed to accelerate breakthroughs in quantum computing and photonic research, providing more data in less time and simplifying complex R&D workflows.
